DAN MULLIN & IAN MCBRIDE

DAN MULLIN

Dan started his career in Geneseo at Pauper Jack's on Main Street in 1967. After 6 ½ years in the Coast Guard he turned his full time focus to the culinary arts. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park he also taught at the California Culinary Institute in San Francisco. Many of his years were spent in California country clubs with American Golf in three different locations and on in Ohio. In the mid 90's he and his Irish born wife, Dee, returned to Ireland where he was the head Chef in the country club of the renowned Mount Juliet golf Course in Killarney. They also owned their own restaurant, Zephyr, in the west of Ireland for three years before returning to the USA. Although classically trained, Dan's primary talent is the ability to serve what The Nines needs. His objective is to keep our customers and members happy in every way - from a simple quesadilla to a very creative chef feature.

IAN MCBRIDE

Ian brings 20 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, and country clubs to The Nines. His career began in Pittsburg, PA, where he attended Community College of Allegheny County. He moved to Tuscon, Arizona in 1998 where he worked as Banquet Chef for the four-star resort Loews Ventana Canyon and attended culinary training programs through Loews Hotels. In 2004 he moved back East to Geneseo, where he was the Executive Chef of the Big Tree Inn until December 2009.

Ian has participated in many local events during his six years in Western New York, including:

- Taste of Livingston County ('07, '08, '09)

- Taste of Rochester ('08, '09)

- Savor Rochester ('09)

- Slice, Dice and Spice of Western NY ('08)

Ian's creativity and commitment have played a key role in menu creation and execution. His signature dishes invite you to experience new flavors and enjoy old favorites from a fresh perspective.

OUR MENU

What you like - how you like it, at an affordable price. At The Nines we offer a wide range of choice from tavern favorites to gourmet entrees created by our Chef. We will always have the highest quality cuts of meat, fresh seafood and local produce. Our menu is unique. Appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, paninis and wraps are available at any time and are displayed on our menu. Our dinner features will be announced daily. Our Chef will prepare a variety of features that will always include a selection of beef, chicken, fish and pasta. Features will be announced on our website and in our Tavern. Of course, you are always welcome to call us for that day's selections.
